Message from Principal Lindblom
Thank You For Your Service to Lincoln!
- Mark Jordan, our Associate Principal has been named the new lead principal at Eisenhower Elementary. Congratulations to Mark as he moves on to new adventures. He has done a great job at Lincoln during the COVID era as we continued to pivot to keep school open and thriving.
- Also going to Eisenhower Elementary is Jennifer Chipman, our secretary. The opportunity for Jennifer to apply for this position at her neighborhood school came up recently. We will miss Jennifer and thank her for being amazing during her time at our school.
- Our next staffing change is Andrew Chambers, our school counselor. He will be moving to Washington Elementary next fall as the lead counselor. Andrew has been so valuable to the community during his time at Lincoln and we wish him the absolute best.
- Finally, Ms. Fazzolari, currently one of our 4th grade teachers will be leaving our team due to staffing cuts. Ms. "Fazz" has been incredible this year as she has led her classroom. We have been so fortunate to have her on staff and she will be greatly missed. We wish her the best as she looks to join another staff.
New Staff
We welcome Mr. Harrison Bardo as our new Associate Principal next school year. Mr. Bardo relocated to Vancouver from Texas a year ago. He was a principal in Texas and has been in administration at Sarah J. Anderson Elementary this last year.
There will be further staffing announcements in early August as our 2022-2023 team is solidified.
Steve Lindblom; Principal

Teacher Qualification Notice
In an effort to keep parents informed of the qualifications of teacher, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) allows parents to inquire at school whether their child(ren)’s teacher(s) have met state qualifications and certification requirements for the grade level and subject taught. Parents may inquire whether a teacher is under emergency or conditional certificate through which state qualifications were waived, and they may request information about undergraduate or graduate degrees the teacher holds, including graduate certificates and additional degrees, and major(s) or area(s) of concentration. Parents can also ask about paraprofessionals working with your child in reading, writing, and/or mathematics. We can tell you whether your child receives help from a paraprofessional and whether he/she meets state qualifications and/or licensing requirements.
Vancouver Public Schools annually conducts an audit of teacher assignments to assure that no teachers are assigned to areas for which they do not meet Washington State certification and/or endorsement requirements. Only on rare occasion does the District seek a wavier to certification. When this does occur, it is typically for a teacher who is within a few credits of completing the endorsement and is actively working on such completion.
