Lincoln families,

We have a school-wide attendance contest during the month of February.  Each student is keeping track of their attendance, including tardies, on a chart on their desk. Students who have perfect attendance for the month will be invited to play Bingo in the library at the end of the month. The class with the best attendance will earn a pizza party.

Being at school on time, every day, is important.  Here are some statistics:

“But my child is only 5 minutes late!”

  • TODAY: Your child misses 5 minutes of learning
  • THIS WEEK: Your child misses 25 minutes of learning
  • THIS YEAR: Now your student has missed 16 hours, or 3 days 1 hour, of learning
  • BY THE END OF YEAR 2: Rising to 9 days 3 hours of learning
  • IN THEIR SCHOOL LIFE: Your student has missed 38 days 2 hours, or 7 weeks 3 days 2 hours of learning

Your child’s learning is important!  Get them to school on time!

 Thank you!
