HATS OFF TO BEACHES!
On February 27, Lincoln first graders (and their parents) were treated to a “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast!
The great crew from Beaches prepared and served delicious (although a bit odd-looking) green eggs, ham, fruit, and juice. They also provided a colorful “Cat in the Hat” hat for each student and dinner gift certificates, which were awarded to three lucky parents!
A free children’s book (to take home) was provided to each child, courtesy of Riverside Bank.
This fun annual event, which takes place in every Vancouver Public elementary school, marks the anniversary of Dr. Seuss’s birth. It also demonstrates the ongoing commitment to our students and school district by a very generous local business.
