WATCH D.O.G.S logoParents, we are proud to have the WATCH D.O.G.S. program in our school.  Remember that this is our effort to provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. This is a nationally recognized program that has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into schools across the country. WATCH D.O.G.S. are fathers, grandfathers, uncles and male mentors who volunteer at least one day during the school year. We have an amazing group of men here at Lincoln who have embraced our invitation and have made an immediate impact on our school culture. Our WATCH D.O.G.S. visit different classrooms, eat lunch with students, play outside at recess and are a visible male presence in our school.

For more information about the WATCH D.O.G.S. program, or to sign-up to be a WATCH D.O.G., please contact our FCRC, Jessica Blatt, at 313-2314 or at Jessica.blatt@vansd.org.

Thank you to our LPSG parent group for having our Lincoln Student Store available to students every Friday from 8:35 to 8:55 a.m. Students may bring blue or yellow slips to purchase school supplies and books. Blue and yellow slips are given to students who are following our school rules; Act Responsibly, Be Safe, Express Respect. Blue and yellow slips are worth 10 cents each. Students are also allowed to spend cash at the Student Store. Again, thanks to our LPSG for providing this opportunity to all of our students.
