ATTENDANCE MATTERS!

Our motto at Lincoln is All Day, Every Day

Being in school leads to success in school!

Chronic Absence – missing 10% or more of school excused or unexcused

Lincoln Elementary – 10% of students are chronically absent

Students chronically absent in grades K & 1 are much less likely to read at grade level in by grade 3.

Students who do not read at grade level by grade 3 are four times more likely to drop out of high school.

Students who are chronically absent have a 21% likelihood of dropping out of high school.

Students who are chronically tardy have a 25% likelihood of dropping out of high school.

ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!

This is our motto. We encourage our students to be at school each and every day and to be at school all day long.

Lincoln students who miss 5 days or less between August 31 and winter break will have their name in a drawing to win bicycles, scooters and skate boards with helmets. In order to be counted as in attendance students must be on time to school (no later than 9:10) and stay the entire day (until 3:30).
